Leh Ladakh Tour 5 Night 6 Days Itinerary
Day 01 :- ARRIVAl IN LEH
Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you will meet our representative and transfer to the Hotel for Check-in. Complete the day for rest and leisure to acclimatize to Ladakh’s high altitude of 11500 feet. In the evening we will visit Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Local market. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 :- EXCURISON TO SHAM VALLEY
Post Breakfast we proceed to the west side of the Indus Valley visiting the Hall of Fame(Museum)Kali Mata Mandir, Patther Shab (Gurduwara) Magnetic Hill, Sangam(Confluence of Indus and Zanskar River), and from here we will drive further to visit Alchi monastery. Alchi monastery is popularly known as Alchi Choskor and is one of the most ancient monasteries of Ladakh. Alchi village itself is also a very beautiful village. After Alchi, we will proceed towards Likir & then to Lamayuru. The place is also known as Moon Land. Geologists studied and said that Lamayuru was underwater centuries back. The landscape in this area of Ladakh is very different. We will visit Lamayuru monastery and drive back to Leh. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 03 : LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY (126 Km / APRX. 05 Hrs)
After an early breakfast, we drive to Nubra Valley via Khardongla Pass (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39 km from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or Valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. On the way, we will visit Deskit Monastery situated on a hill overlooking the entire Nubra Valley, and see the biggest Maitreya Buddha’s Statue below the Monastery and later drive to the dunes to enjoy a camel safari (Optional). Overnight at Hunder.
Day 04 : – NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG LAKE VIA SHAYOK
After your breakfast, we will drive straight to Pangong Lake via Shayok or Wari La. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometers at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. A few years back the government decided to open it to tourists though the lake and its surroundings are under army surveillance. Enjoy the landscape in the backdrop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and ethe nvironment and the scenery is unforgettable. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.
Day 05 : PANGONG LAKE TO LEH
Morning leisure to explore the beauty of the lake & later head back to Leh for an overnight stay.
Day 06 : – DEPARTURE FROM LEH (FLY OUT)
Tour concludes. Travel To Himalaya thank you for your patronage and ensure a punctual transfer to Domestic Airport to catch the flight for your onward journey towards home.
