The journey follows the Budhi Gandaki River, passing through lush forests, terraced fields, and dramatic gorges before reaching the high-altitude landscapes near the Tibetan border.
Tsum Valley, known as the “Valley of Happiness,” is a culturally rich region with ancient monasteries like Mu Gompa and Rachen Gompa, traditional chortens, and prayer walls. The valley has preserved its Tibetan Buddhist heritage for centuries, with friendly locals who still practice unique customs. Unlike the more commercialized trekking routes in Nepal, Tsum Valley remains a peaceful sanctuary for spiritual seekers and nature lovers.
