Flight Delays & Transportation:

There are no flights required for the Annapurna North Base Camp Trek. The journey begins with a drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. However, road conditions can be unpredictable, especially during the monsoon, so it’s advisable to allow for buffer days to account for any delays.

Visa:

A Nepal visa is available on arrival at Kathmandu Airport for a fee of $30 (15 days) or $50 (30 days). Make sure to carry passport-sized photos and USD cash for a smooth visa process.

Travel Insurance:

It’s essential to have travel insurance that covers trekking at altitudes above 4,000 meters, including emergency evacuation. This coverage is necessary due to the remote nature of the trek and the lack of medical facilities in high-altitude areas.

Currency Exchange:

Currency exchange is available in Kathmandu, but there are no ATMs along the trekking route. Carry enough Nepali rupees to cover personal expenses, as most teahouses and shops along the trail only accept cash.
